Position: Director of Business Development
Job Brief
We are seeking a self-motivated and results-oriented Director of Business Development to take charge of our Business Development and Sales team in the fast-paced and ever-evolving SaaS resell industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create effective sales strategies
- Identify areas for improvement
- Work with cross-functional teams
- Present regular reports to senior management
- Manage the sales process and team within the business
- Track changing trends in the business
- Maintains sales volume
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
- Highlight key performance metrics
- Discuss promotional plans and activities with the marketing department
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SAAS business models
- Good knowledge of the Nigerian market dynamics
- 5 years in sales leadership or managing positions within the SAAS technology industry
- Proven track record of at least 10-12 years in progressive sales roles
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to close complex deals
- Passion for achieving targets
- Ability to analyze market trends
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to develop and execute effective sales plans and initiatives
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; master’s degree preferred
