Position: Director of Business Development

Job Brief

We are seeking a self-motivated and results-oriented Director of Business Development to take charge of our Business Development and Sales team in the fast-paced and ever-evolving SaaS resell industry.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create effective sales strategies
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Work with cross-functional teams
  • Present regular reports to senior management
  • Manage the sales process and team within the business
  • Track changing trends in the business
  • Maintains sales volume
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Highlight key performance metrics
  • Discuss promotional plans and activities with the marketing department

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SAAS business models
  • Good knowledge  of the Nigerian market dynamics
  •  5 years in sales leadership or managing positions within the SAAS technology industry
  • Proven track record of at least 10-12 years in progressive sales roles
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to close complex deals
  • Passion for achieving targets
  • Ability to analyze market trends
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales plans and initiatives

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; master’s degree preferred
