Job Brief
Applicants are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant position of Director in the Federal University of Agriculture. As a director, you will be in charge of supervising the academic programs at the institution. You are to work with faculty members to amplify and implement the curriculum, and direct student assessment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Directing and coordinating academic programs
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Develop the institution
- Supervising admissions processes
- Schedule and regular meetings with faculty staff
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations
- Coordinating with other Academic Department Directors
- Offering administrative support
- Create educational processes and strategies to meet curriculum goals
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Time management
- Problem-solving skills
- Candidate must possess sound judgment
- He or She must be in good health
- Strong In-depth knowledge of university policies
Qualifications
- Honours degree in Humanities or Social Sciences from a recognized University
- The candidate is expected to have 15 years of post-degree experience in the media and public relations industry
- Candidate must be a registered member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)
- He or She must be active on social media
- Good computer knowledge
