Position: Development Lead
Job Brief
Our client an Africa’s leading independent E&P player with a diverse portfolio with up to eight oil and gas assets in prolific basins across the African region. This job role requires a sound knowledge of reservoir engineering principles, geology, and production operations.
Nevertheless, the development lead will oversee the optimisation of the subsurface evaluation and development planning.
Roles and Responosibilities
- Create and implement comprehensive reservoir management plans
- Regularly conduct reservoir performance evaluations
- Design drilling and workflow programs
- Provide regular and effective progress updates
- Work closely with relevant teams
- Coordinate the creation and calibration
- Direct secondary and tertiary recovery techniques
Requirements
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Solid knowledge of reservoir characterization
- Ability to enhance oil recovery techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully leading multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage complex projects
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in reservoir engineering
- Familiarity with Southern Nigeria’s subsurface characteristics
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related field
