Position: Country Finance Manager

Job Brief

Self Help Africa  (SHF) is an international development organisation with Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland and dedicated to the vision of sustainable livelihoods and healthy lives for all in a changing climate. We have almost 50 years of experience working in Africa, including over 20 years in Nigeria (as a united purpose and concern universal) We looking to hire a Country Finance Manager to be part of our team.

Country Finance Manager

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Report to the country director
  • Provide oversight
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Developing long-term business plans
  • Reviewing works done by the finance team
  • Quality leadership for efficient and effective operations of the finance
  • Producing financial reports
Requirement
  • 8 years of operational finance experience
  • Preferably in a mid to large international NGO with 3 to 4 years of management experience including supervisory experience
  • Commercial and business acumen
  • An analytical mind
  • Strong ability to develop strong working relationships
Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
  • A recognized professional certificate in accounting such as ICAN, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or ACCA
