Job Brief

A reputable educational institution is seeking a seasoned administrator, and an innovative educational Consultant to join our team for the proposed institution (Polytechnic/Technical College of Education) The ideal candidate should have a good grasp of all the factors affecting the learning process.

However, the person appointed as Consultant must have a formal college of education environment knowledge and have first-hand experience from the institute’s core proposed programs and activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Examining academic systems
  • Supporting staff and students
  • Providing reporting to the relevant stakeholders
  • Creating new and more effective curricula
  • Advising teachers and students
  • Guide administrators
  • Enhancing training programs
  • Identify and assess educational needs
  • Gathering information from educators
  • Monitor program budgets and cost allocation plans

Requirements

  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in curriculum design and blended learning
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Organizational and ICT skills
  • Minimum of 50 years of age
  • Be a registered and active member of a professional Association in the field of education
  •  At least 15 years of post-graduate experience with a minimum of 8 years of school administration from two different schools preferably as a Provost

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in education or a related discipline
