Position: Compliance and Accounts Receivables Accountant

Job Brief

Worldwide Technical Services Nigeria Limited is one of the leading outsourcing management companies in Nigeria. Nevertheless, we are dedicated to providing excellent services to our clients. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity. However, we are seeking a diligent and experienced Accounts Receivables Accountant to be part of our finance team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Liaising with customers to resolve any billing issues
  • Provide support regarding account status and payment
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers
  • Assist during audits to ensure adherence
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations
  • Manage the accounts receivables
  • Following up on collections, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records 
  • Implement internal controls related to accounts receivables
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in accounts receivables and compliance
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Integrity and ethical conduct
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Good time management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification e.g., ACA, ACCA
