Position: Communications Specialist
Job Brief
We need a Communications Specialist to oversee all our external and internal communications-related matters. The ideal candidate will promote a positive public image and control the dissemination of information on our company’s behalf.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create effective corporate communication strategies
- Oversee all internal communications
- Drafting content for publication
- Plan press conferences and events
- Collaborate with media houses
- Perform damage control in cases of bad publicity
- Act as a bridge between the organisation and the public
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in communications or marketing
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Proven experience as a communications specialist
- Experience in web design and content production is an added advantage
Qualification
- BSc / BA in public relations or communications
