Job Brief
A leading vegetable oil refinery based in the North Central region of Nigeria is inviting suitable candidates to apply for the above position. However. The ideal candidate will be a brilliant leader to direct and lead the team. Nevertheless, the goal is to safeguard the company’s returns and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable increase.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the company’s policies
- Oversee the company’s finance
- Ensure timeliness, accuracy
- Prepare financial statements
- Supervise all finance personnel
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds
- Provide analyses of financial results
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems
- Remain up to date on special district audit best practices
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls of financial procedures
Requirements
- Audit experience will be an added advantage
- ACA or ACCA
- 15 years of industry experience especially in food/vegetable oil refinery
- Possess strong supervisory skills with years of experience to back it up
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft, Powerpoint and Excel
- Good knowledge of financial accounting software application
- Strong communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
Qualification
- First degree in numerate subjects especially Accounting
