Job Brief
A boutique hotel, located in Lagos needs the services of a highly experienced chef. The ideal candidate should be able to prepare intercontinental dishes, preferably French Cuisine and Lebanese food.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Train new kitchen staff
- Oversee all kitchen operations
- Taking stock of the ingredients
- Inform wait staff about daily specials
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Check the freshness of food
- Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
- Placing orders to replenish stock.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends
- Study each recipe and gather all the necessary ingredients
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a cook
- Excellent time management
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitasking
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations
- Good knowledge of the culinary arts
