Our restaurant is seeking a passionate, skilled chef to create delicious meals for our customers. You will be responsible for planning our menu, ensuring that each dish is nutritious and cost-effective, and collaborating with a team of kitchen staff to deliver food that meets the highest quality standards. However, the ideal candidate should be able to prepare local continental and Chinese cuisine
Roles and Responsibilities
- Train new kitchen staff
- Oversee all kitchen operations
- Taking stock of the ingredients
- Inform wait staff about daily specials
- Cook food promptly
- Check the freshness of food
- Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
- Placing orders to replenish stock.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends
- Study each recipe and gather all the necessary ingredients
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a cook
- Excellent time management
- 10 years experience
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitasking
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations
- Good knowledge of the culinary arts
