Job Brief
A Financial Institution which is a registered member of the NGX, located on the Island is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant who would be taking up the role of Chief Financial Officer. Note that applicants are to state relevant work experiences on tax-related matters, and audit of equity alongside their applications
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the full financial process
- Direct the duties of the accounting team
- Implement accounting systems and processes
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Reconcile income statements
- Conduct internal and external audits
- Preparing budgets and annual reports
- Analyzing the company’s financial systems
- Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
- Assisting with tax plans
Requirements
- Candidate must be between 25 and 37 years old regardless of the gender
- Applicant must be a certified associate or fellow of ICAN
- Time management skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to manage stressful situations
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
