Position: Audit Manager

Job brief

An audit firm in Lagos is seeking to hire an Audit Manager who will oversee the internal audit function in our strategic business Units. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will create and implement a strong, systematic and disciplined approach.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and implement audit plans
  • Supervise and mentor audit staff
  • Ensure audit reports are delivered to management
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Identifying loopholes
  • Function as a strategic partner to the business unit  by not only
  • Conduct risk and control assessments from time to time
  • Direct support in the auditing process
  • Create and maintain solid audit procedures
  • Submit reports to the auditing manager

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Proven experience in audit or risk management
  • Ability to operate a computer
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple sectors within the company

Qualification

  • BSc in Accounting or any related field
  • ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, is an added advantage
