Position: Assistant Accounts Officer

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of credit/broker accounts for the regional office
  • Performing daily cash allocation of receipts and payments
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Raising and posting of journals arising from the reconciliation process
  • Ability to prepare accurate financial analysis
  • Cross-checking invoices with payments
  • Ensure accuracy in the financial report
  • Address payment issues
  • Monitors financial management of departmental budgets
  • Attend to any other duties as may be assigned

  • Advanced knowledge of all aspects of General Accounting
  • Ability to build relationships to ensure smooth business transactions

Qualifications

  • BS.c or HND in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
