Position: Accountant

Job Brief

A Mirco finance bank urgently needs an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.  As an Accountant you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on our business’s financial position, liquidity and cash flows.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Publishing of  financial statements on time
• Comply with financial policies
• Input data into the software
• Statutory audit and internal audit.
• Ability to reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Manage every accounting transaction
• Conducting database backups when needed
• Financial Reporting
• Summarizing for hassle-free reviews
• Make bill payment

Requirements

• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Good Accountant skills
• Good analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Work experience as an Accountant
• Time management
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Ability to prepare financial statement
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking

Qualifications

• BS.c / HND in any relevant management or administrative field
• Must have the micro-finance certification program (M.C.P)
• ICAN, ACIB, CIPM, and RIMAN will be added advantage
