Position: Accountant
Job Brief
We are looking for reliable accountants who work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. The ideal candidate is expected to handle various tasks and be able to beat deadlines. Nevertheless, you are to provide transparency. Have a strong knowledge of financial accounting and possess strong computer skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the validation of transactions and verification of their overall impact
- Lay down and validate the accounting systems and tools
- Settle amounts due, or recover outstanding receivable
- Prepare staff payroll administrations. including fringe benefit computations
- Ensure timely and effective follow-up to audit observations and recommendations
- Make financial recommendations
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Ensure all bookkeeping is accurate
- Properly store and manage financial data
- Update review and accounting processes
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years experience in accounting
- Professional qualifications such as ICAN and ACCA
- Advanced use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Proven track record as an accountant
- Must have a minimum of 10 work experience
- Ability to work without supervision
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or a related field
