Position: Accountant
Job Brief
A trading company in a leading FMCG with a major presence in the South-South, South-East region of Nigeria has an urgent need for a branch Accountant.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain strong accurate financial records
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
- Providing reports on financial data
- Manage the entire accounting transactions
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Attend to any discrepancy in accounting
- Keeping account books and systems up to date
- Examining the accuracy of financial documents
- Complying with all company accounting and financial policy
- Recording of payments and disbursements
Requirements
- A fresh graduate who must have completed NYSC
- Smart and intelligent
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be geographically mobile
- Proficient in the use of QuickBooks
- Excellent knowledge of accounting
- Cross-checking invoices with payments
- Ensure accuracy in the financial report
- Must not be more than 32 years of age
- Must resident in the chosen location or willing to relocate
Qualifications
- BSc/HND minimum of upper credit in Accounting or other related Social Sciences
