Elkris Bio Health Foods is one of the leading food manufacturing companies in Nigeria. Elkris Foods is into the packaging, marketing, and distribution of Elkris SuperOat across Nigeria. Elkris Bio Health Foods is currently seeking to hire an Accountant to help maintain a good accounting record and manage every transaction in our organisation. Nevertheless, the ideal candidate will have to prepare financial reports and maintain solid accounting principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Financial Accounting Unit, overseeing activities such as account reconciliations, preparation of statutory financial statements, Vendor accounts reconciliations,  and processing of statutory returns.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Obey every financial policy and oversee budget forecasts
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly reports
• Manage financial records and supervise staff
• Analyse financial data
• Coordinate every accounting transaction
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Coordinate financial reporting
• Ensure financial accuracy and completeness in reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate payables, receivables, and cash flow positions and  manage the general ledger
• Perform end-to-end processing of statutory remittances
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
• Provide support for audit processes and internal reviews.
• Support operational coordination, logistics tracking, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory-related financial and operational records.
• Collaborate with internal departments on administrative and operational matters.
• Monitor the company’s cash flow  and reconcile bank statements
• Ensure compliance with internal control, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation.

Requirements

• Strong accounting knowledge
• Familiar with the information technology business
• Good time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Strong analytical
•  2–3  years’ accounting experience
• Able to use accounting software

Qualification

• BSc/HND in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA) is a plus.
