Job Brief
Davina Hotel & Resort offers 5-star accommodation with an indoor pool, located in the heart of Abuja is inviting applicants for the above position. As an accountant to be successful in this role, you must be up and doing. Nevertheless, you are to provide transparency. Have a strong knowledge of financial accounting and possess strong computer skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the validation of transactions and verification of their overall impact
- Lay down and validate the accounting systems and tools
- Settle amounts due, or recover outstanding receivable
- Prepare staff payroll administrations. including fringe benefit computations
- Ensure timely and effective follow-up to audit observations and recommendations
- Make financial recommendations
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Ensure all bookkeeping is accurate
- Properly store and manage financial data
- Update review and accounting processes
Requirements
- Flexible to work
- Professional qualifications such as ICAN and ANAN
- Advanced use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Proven track record as an accountant
- Must have a minimum of 10 work experience
- Ability to work without supervision
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or a related field
