We need a reliable Account Officer who will manage all our financial transactions. Ensure efficiency without giving up accuracy.  The ideal candidate is expected to work with large amounts of numerical data and handle multiple tasks with deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain strong, accurate financial records
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
• Providing reports on financial data
• Manage the entire accounting transactions
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Attend to any discrepancies in accounting
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Keeping account books and systems up to date
• Support daily financial operations
• Cross-check invoices with payment
• Reconcile bank statements
• Support the preparation of financial reports
• Ensure compliance with the organization’s financial policies
• Sending bills and invoices to clients

Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• Team player
• Excellent knowledge of accounting
• Strong attention to detail
• Ethical behaviour
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Good experience with general ledger functions
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a plus

Qualifications

• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
