Position: Dispatch Rider
Job brief
Pruvia Integrated Limited needs a reliable Dispatch Rider to act as a communication point and deliver items to customers. The job holder will be responsible for outdoor and indoor delivery, sending, and collecting packages in designated locations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Delivering items
- Adhere to company policies
- Ensure all packages are intact
- Maintaining the motorcycle
- Communicate effectively with the office regarding delivery issues
- Adhere to safety regulations
- Ensure motorcycle is in good condition
- Provide a report on issues affecting work
- Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and items to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery where necessary
- Maintain strong, accurate records of deliveries
- Handle items with care to prevent damage
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of routes
- Must be a skilled rider
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail
- Valid Rider’s Permit
- Solid knowledge of local routes
- Must have a rider’s license
- Physically fit
- 6 months of experience in a similar role
Qualification
- A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate
