Position: Truck Driver
Job brief
We need a reliable truck driver who is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods. The job holder will be tasked with driving and maintaining the truck assigned to him. Ensuring timely deliveries of items.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the condition of the truck
- Inspect tyres, lights, and brakes from time to time
- Keep required records of dispatch and delivery
- Maintain traffic laws
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Maintain a positive attitude with customers
- Keep an activities log and log hours
Requirements
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- The candidate must be reliable
- Attention to detail
- Candidate should be honest
- Ability to work within a team
- Physical endurance
- Ability to speak the English Language
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Valid driver’s License
