Position: Quantity Surveyor
Job brief
We seek to hire a vibrant and resourceful qualified Quantity Surveyor to be part of our team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Visiting various sites
- Preparing quantity requirements
- Liaising with site managers, clients
- Advising managers and clients
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Evaluating construction plans
- Prepares the Bill of quantities
- Keeping track of materials on-site
- Maintain professional relationships
- Work closely with site engineers
Requirements
- Experience in an engineering service firm is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a QS
- Monitor project expenditures
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage a team
- Excellent computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
Qualification
- BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field of study
