Position: Truck Driver
Job Brief
We are need a reliable Truck Driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods. We are a well logistics and transportation company. The job holder will be tasked with driving and maintaining the truck assigned to him.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the condition of the truck
- Inspect tyres, lights, and brakes from time to time
- Keep required records of dispatch and delivery
- Maintain traffic laws
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Maintain a positive attitude with customers
- Keep an activities log and log hours
Requirements
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- The candidate must be reliable
- Attention to detail
- Candidate should be honest
- Ability to work within a team
- Physical endurance
- Ability to speak English Language
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
- Valid driver’s License and LASDRI
