Position: Human Resources Manager

Job Brief

An Indigenous fashion brand in Lekki Lagos Nigeria, seeks to hire a Human Resources Manager to direct every aspect of the human resources department. Ensure the smooth running of the organisation and also the welfare of staff, onboard and train new workers.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and advice
  • Capability building to enhance team skills
  • Direct all centre human resource departmental
  • Advise in areas where needed
  • Build up staff appraisal management system
  • Keep up staff development initiative
  • Evaluate the recruitment request
  • Control the allocation of human resources budgets
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws
  • Oversee the recruitment process

Requirements

  • Proven leadership skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Good presentation skills
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Good understanding of national labour laws
  • Capability to work in a stressful environment
  • Experience in the usage of computer system
  • Excellent skills in handling and advising in people management
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience in human resources
  • Ability to work without any supervision

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, social science or any related discipline
