Position: Senior Accountants

Job Brief

We are searching for a Senior Accountant to oversee and direct our accounting department. In this role, you will be tasked with efficiently preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare a financial statement for the management decision
• Directing the Financial and management accounting processes
• Ensure that all creditors’ balances are diligently
• Implement and approve accounting processes
• Plan and implement accounting operations
• Preparing financial analyses
• Maintaining and reconciling the balance sheet
• Investigating and resolving audit findings
• Create timely and accurate accounting report
• Coordinate and integrate activities towards the achievement of established goals

Requirements

• A high degree of integrity
• Good accounting skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Stress management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in accounts
•  5 years in a managerial position
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Ability to manage staff
• Good practical experience with accounting software

Qualifications

• BS.c/HND in Accounting
• Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
