Position: Maintenance Engineer Electrical
Job Brief
Our organization is searching for an experienced maintenance engineer (electrical). The ideal job holder is expected to have a sound knowledge of Engineering work. Nevertheless, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the efficiency, and safety of all electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure within the organisation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Evaluate electrical equipment
- Direct preventive, corrective
- Provide technical guidance
- Fault finding in Electrical
- Organize training sessions
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to HSE standards
- Installation of all Electrical control equipment
Requirements
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Ensure strong compliance with HSE regulations
- Solid knowledge of HSE principles
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to enforce a safety culture
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems used in the oil and gas sector
- Professional certifications are an added advantage
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
