Position: Senior Petrophysicist
Job Brief
A subsidiary of a leading international energy and infrastructure conglomerate seeks to hire a Senior Petrophysicist to play a role in driving reservoir part in development planning, and decision-making processes in our oil and gas fields.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assessing reservoir properties
- Engineering datasets to create robust reservoir models
- Assist reservoir management
- Ensure ease of integration of petrophysical data
- Improve hydrocarbon recovery strategies
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior staff
- Support real-time decision-making during logging operations
Requirements
- Good knowledge of petrophysical principles
- Ability to work in diverse field conditions
- Strong attention to detail in data analysis
- Good background in using petrophysical software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make use of logging tools such as LWD, MWD, NMR
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in petrophysics within the upstream oil and gas sector
Qualification
- Certification in relevant disciplines or technologies (e.g., SPE Certified Petroleum Professional) is an added advantage
