Position: Pharmacy Technician
Job Brief
We need a reliable Pharmacy Technician to process and fill prescriptions. The job holder will have to work according to the direction of a pharmacist. Nevertheless, You will also need to do other tasks to provide outstanding customer service. Furthermore, you will be offering a comprehensive range of medical services with a focus on your unique needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Verifying the accuracy of patient information
- Recording medical histories of patients
- Arrange and label medication
- Responding to inquiries
- Performing inventory
- Accept written prescriptions
- Select the proper medicine
- Measuring patient dosages
- Processing prescriptions of the patient
- Comply with all regulatory standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician
- Attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of medication
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizational skills
- Completion of NYSC
- 6 months of post-NYSC work experience
- A certified Pharmacy technician is an asset
Qualification
- BSc in Pham, Biochemistry or Microbiology.
