Position: Accountant
Job Brief
We are a reputable, plastic pipe extrusion manufacturing company located in Abeokuta Ogun State Nigeria. We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions in our organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting background. However, the candidate’s responsibilities will include bank reconciliation, auditing financial documents and others.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and provide management with regular financial reports
- Coordinate accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Manage the entire accounting transactions
- Attend to any disparity in accounting
- Providing reports on financial data
- Keeping account books and systems up to date
- Examining the accuracy of financial documents
- Complying with all company accounting and finance policy
Requirements
- 10 years of work experience in similar position
- Proficiency in accounting, software and MS Office
- Excellent knowledge of accounting
- Ensure accuracy in the financial report
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be computer literate
