Position: Project Coordinator

Job Brief

An international consultant requires the following project personnel for 5 years project in Abuja. Therefore, as the project coordinator you are expected to perform different coordinating tasks, such as schedule and risk management.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Direct project management activities
  • Use tools to monitor working hours
  • Act as a go-between with clients to identify aims and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal team members
  • Ensure that clients’ needs are met
  • Assist in preparing budgets
  • Evaluate risks and opportunities
  • Coordinate project procurement management
  • Direct project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years coordinating project activities in multilateral organization, NGO or government
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid organizational skills

Qualification

  • BSc in international development, economics, finance, business administration, project management
  • Master degree preferred
