Position: Area Sales Manager

Job Brief

A Pharmaceutical company is seeking a talented Sales Manager to increase sales within an assigned geographical area and guide a team of field sales representatives. The area sales managers will deliver presentations to potential and existing customers, and evaluate the performance of the sales team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve sales
  • Motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Communicate actively with sales teams in a given area
  • Monitoring the performance of the sales team
  • Maintain contact with clients/customers for feedback
  • Obtain client/customer satisfaction information
  • Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
  • Delegate authority and responsibility to the team members
  • Providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of the organisation’s sales strategy

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of managerial experience in pharmaceutical marketing
  • 2 years experience as a senior medical sales representative
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to consult and negotiate with customers
  • Strong analytical
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with little supervision
  • Knowledge of or experience with Internet sales methods
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment

Qualification

  • B.pharm/ BSc pharmacology and other related biology science

Location

  • North, West, East & South
