Position: Account Officer
Job Brief
Morris Royal Limited is based in Isheri, Lagos. We meet our client’s needs by providing experienced security and law enforcement professionals specialising in Enterprise Risk Management. Therefore, We are seeking a reliable Account Officer who works efficiently without giving up accuracy. You are to provide transparent and complete reports to management. Therefore to be successful in this role, you should have a firm grip of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain strong accurate financial records
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
- Providing reports on financial data
- Manage the entire accounting transactions
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Keeping account books and systems up to date
- Examining the accuracy of financial documents
- Complying with all company accounting and financial policy
- Recording of payments and disbursements
Requirements
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare facility
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Able to make use of Quickbook
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Proven work experience as an Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of accounting
- Strong attention to detail
- Ethical behavior
- Good experience with general ledger functions
Qualifications
- HND/BS.c in Accounting
