Position: Procurement Manager

Roles and Responsibilities
- Tracks all PRs, for both local purchases and those requested through the home office
- Receives approved purchase requisitions (PR) for procurement of goods and services
- Facilitate the preparation of the procurement plan
- Determines price reasonableness
- Responsible for collection and analysis of proforma invoices and presents to the supervisor for further processing or approval
- Initiate the review and validation of the MSH Nigeria Procurement Manual
- Oversee all cross-cutting procurement across MSH projects (office move to a new location, security services, internet service, cleaning services, payroll management
- Oversee a team of purchasing staff at the country office and eight PMI-S state offices
- Capacity building of team
- Informs the supervisor about prices and qualities of goods if purchases are not of a routine nature
Requirements
- A team player
- Minimum of seven years experience in any major player in the oil and gas sector
- Ability to understand technical specifications
- Good computer skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies and system
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Qualification
- BSc/HND with a science background in Engineering, related to Mechanical or Material and Metallurgical Engineering with a minimum of 2nd class upper
