Position: Regional Sales Manager

Job Brief

Saro Agrosciences is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast region, overseeing business development across Anambra, Abia, Imo & Ebonyi. The candidate must possess industrial experience in relevant commodities and have mid-level managerial fitness for understanding and driving strategic business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify key customers for Soybean Oil
  • Build a journey plan with the database to ensure daily customer visits
  • Apply sales skills and marketing program to convert potential customers
  • Create a customer database within them for Refined consumer soya oil and Rice
  • Inspect the environment weekly to understand the existing and emerging competitor’s
  • Obtain consumer feedback for all new solutions
  • Execute appropriate programmes
  • Track weekly price monitoring and reporting
  • Follow up with customer payment for both cash and credit customers
  • Develop and apply all tactical plans geared towards upselling

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Sales management
  • Solid knowledge and driving strategic business goals
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ideal candidate must possess industrial experience in relevant commodity

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field such as Sales Management, or a related discipline
  • Certification in NIMN / CIM will be an added advantage
