A hospital based in Lagos is seeking to hire a competent Accountant. The ideal candidate is expected to handle various tasks and be able to beat deadlines. Nevertheless, you must provide transparency and have strong financial accounting knowledge and computer skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain strong accurate financial records
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
- Providing reports on financial data
- Manage the entire accounting transactions
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Attend to any discrepancy in accounting
- Keeping account books and systems up to date
- Examining the accuracy of financial documents
- Complying with all company accounting and financial policy
- Recording of payments and disbursements
Requirements
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Smart and intelligent
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be geographically mobile
- Proficient in the use of QuickBooks
- Excellent knowledge of accounting
- Cross-checking invoices with payments
- Ensure accuracy in the financial report
- Proven track record as an accountant
- Ability to work without supervision
Qualifications
- BSc/HND minimum of upper credit in Accounting
