Job Brief
Mazik Foundation for Consumer Rights, an NGO is currently looking for reliable accountants who work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. The ideal candidate is expected to handle various tasks and be able to beat deadlines. Nevertheless, you are to provide transparency. Have a strong knowledge of financial accounting and possess strong computer skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Properly store and manage financial data
- Update review and accounting processes
- Make financial recommendations
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Ensure all bookkeeping is accurate
- Oversee the validation of transactions
- Lay down and validate the accounting systems and tools
- Settle amounts due, or recover outstanding receivable
- Prepare staff payroll administrations. including fringe benefit computations
- Ensure timely and effective follow-up to audit observations and recommend
Requirements
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Proven track record as an accountant
- Ability to work without supervision
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations
- Advanced use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounting packages
Qualifications
- HND/BSc in Accounting
- A Chartered Accountant is most preferable
