Position: Management Information System Manager

Job Brief

Akesis Health is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to quality Healthcare and building local capacity in the health sector in Nigeria. However, we are seeking to recruit for the above position.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and implement MIS policies
  • Ensure data accuracy and security
  • Coordinate Akesis Network
  • Manage warehouse
  • Lead the development and maintenance of Akesis delivery system
  • Track security hardware and software systems
  • Conduct training on MIS activities
  • Provide customer support for OS issues
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues
  • Build and maintain board knowledge of the company’s business

Requirements

  • Six years of working experience
  • Strong systems and data analysis skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Development of network and desktop package
  • Fluency in oral and written English
  • Flexibility and ability to work long hours
  • Relevant knowledge of local area network
  • Strong experience working with international organizations or non-governmental organizations
  • Experience working in a warehouse with warehouse management software

Qualifications

  • BS.c in Computer Science or Information Technology or Business Administration
  • Certification such as ITIL, CONA, CWNA, and MCDBA will be an added advantage
