Position: Financial Controller
Job Brief
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Controller to be part of our team. You are to manage and control the finance and accounting functions of the department.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as the budget manager
- Clarifying modalities for budget inputs
- Collecting budget and financial plan for the division-based
- Inputs from budget holders and primary financial data
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Identify trends and produce reliable financial forecasts
- Observe internal and external auditors
- Motivate and lead the finance team
- Continuously improve efficiencies
- Manage cost reduction strategies
Requirements
- Above average in computer proficiency
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft
- Excellent knowledge of tax
- Ability to work without supervision
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Proven track record as an accountant
- Persuasive skills
- 3 years as a senior accountant or manager
Qualifications
- BS.c/HND in Accounting
