Position: Program Officers
Job Brief
ACOMIN, over the years, has been implementing the community component of the Global Fund for Malaria project, and in furtherance to this, we seek to recruit qualified candidates to fill the above vacant positions. Under the current Global Fund Malaria Grant (GC7), for the effective continuation of the CSO component of the grant being implemented in various states.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in social sciences or other related disciplines
- A postgraduate qualification in public health or other related discipline is an added advantage
- Candidates must have a minimum of three years of work experience in public Health; particularly in malaria programs or any other programs in other disease areas.
- Seven (7) years of minimum experience is required for candidates without a postgraduate degree for managerial staff and a minimum of 5 years of experience is required for candidates without a postgraduate degree for program staff
- IT literate
- Ability to communicate in the local language in the state choice
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-management skill
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedule
- Excellent time management
Preferred Requirements
- Applicants with years of experience working with an NGO in related positions are an added advantage
- Certification and /or requisite training in related fields for the position of choice
