Position: Treasurer
Job Brief
Our company a leading Microfinance bank, currently seeking to hire a Treasurer to take charge of our organization’s financial operations, including cash management and corporate finance. Senior management relies on your proficiency to provide comprehensive reports and conduct perceptive analyses.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Keep an eye on expenditures
- Preparing financial statements
- protecting company funds
- Support in the development of financing policy
- Presume responsibility for cash management
- Maintain financial systems
- Perform risk management
Requirements
- Strong financial modelling
- Deadline and goal-oriented
- Strong leadership skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to write and present financial reports
- Good with numbers and figures
- Prior experience in debt management and foreign exchange
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
- Familiarity with banking relationships and treasury management systems
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / HND Accounting or related field
- MBA or CTP certification is a plus
